Both John and myself love the outdoors with Johns previous hobby being Bull Riding at Rodeos, So when our first son Cameron arrived the rodeos slowed down. We decided that it would be good for our son to grow up with a pet, after careful thought we came up with a Staffordshire to suit our family. The next step was finding one.
With time we found our first bitch Couloir Rebelstoke " Rebel".
Her breeders Carl and Dianna Banning.
With the help of her sires owners Geoff and Margaret Boswell of TUSKALEAR , Sydney.
Who have been our greatest mentors with our chosen breed.
We bred our first litter just a month before our second son Tyler was born.
From then on we haven't looked back, Successfully showing and breeding selectively under the prefix of ROUGHSTOCK.
After a number of years helping run shows and stewarding I finally decided in 2003 to aspire to become a Terrier judge through the 2003/2004 judges training scheme.
In 2006 Jean also gained her Toy Group licence and has judged both groups around Australia and internationally.
2011 we took on the Dogs NSW co-ordinator role for terrier group.
helping other to learn and love terriers.
